IMPERIAL STOUT WITH CACAO NIBS, WALNUTS, MARSHMALLOWS AND VANILLA BEANS / 10.6% ABV
We took our typical pastry stout base recipe that is mashed with local base grains and fermented it out with a clean fermenting yeast to create a chocolatey base beer destined for adjuncts. We set out to create a Rocky Road ice cream in a glass, we think we nailed it. Loaded with walnuts to the tune of approximately 20 pounds per barrel. We then added plump Madagascar vanilla beans, toasted and highly aromatic cocoa nibs and marshmallow. This one is thick, decadent and delicious folks. No lactose.
